Clear, Tinted or Mirrored: The Right Visor
For poor visibility at night or in rain, there are clear visors; for bright sunlight, light or dark-tinted ones. Mirrored visors are available from BELL, Arai and Sparco in several colours, from blue and gold to silver and iridium, for extra glare protection.
Anti-Fog and Double-Screen Visors Against Fogging
For light fogging, an anti-fog visor like the BELL SE06 does the job. For cold and wet conditions, there are true double-pane systems with an extra inner screen, such as the BELL SE03/SE07 Double Screen or the Double Screen Anti Fog visors from Arai and Stilo. Schuberth also offers Pinlock visors in a hard-coat (HC) version for extra scratch resistance, plus its own rain visor with a replaceable inner pane.
Tear-Offs for a Quick Change Mid-Race
